As a former school counselor, I have a heart for helping young people overcome challenges and realize their strengths. Expressive arts and creativity are often at the core of our sessions. Whether that is writing, drawing, or other forms of art, we can use those skills to help you process and externalize even the most challenging emotions. My biggest goal is for you to be able to utilize your passions in the healing process.

I am currently under the supervision of Catherine Baxter, CPCS 2069.

During our time together I will provide you with resources, guidance, support and a safe space to just be. I value authentic conversation and digging through the layers underneath the surface. In session, you can expect me to ask you to slow down and process the emotions that are showing up in real time. I can often tell when there is resistance or avoidance to feelings surfacing and when we pause to notice these feelings, that is when the real work can start to happen. We will dig through your childhood experiences and question the impact that they have on your behaviors today.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I support women in all stages of life wanting to heal from and embrace the beautiful, messy, sometimes painful experiences that define us. I specialize in working with those struggling with perinatal depression, anxiety and OCD that can sometimes show up during trying to conceive, loss, pregnancy and postpartum. Motherhood, in any capacity, is transformational. Sometimes it transforms us in ways we don’t expect. The unexpected can be scary, exhausting, traumatizing and confusing. Together we will navigate and process through these challenges.
