Brooke Ferreira, LMFT
Nurture and Be was born from lived experience.
When founder Brooke Ferreira opened her practice three years ago, she was nine months pregnant — a therapist stepping into motherhood herself. That season built a desire to create the space she longed for herself during such a transformative time of her life.
From that vision came Nurture and Be: a place where women, families, and individuals can find the care, connection, and clarity that transforms not just their mental health — but their lives, their families, and their communities.
Here, therapy feels different. We’re here to welcome you to a therapy collective that treats the whole person and feels like home.

It's Time for You
We’re here to help you create lasting change, gain clarity, and live a life of fullness. We're here to help you reconnect with who you are, what you need, and how to live it out — one honest conversation at a time.

Care that’s designed to work together
At Nurture and Be, we believe healing happens in connection. We slow things down, listen deeply, and create spaces where you feel safe enough to be honest without judgment or pressure.
We’re not here to fix you. We’re here to walk with you, to help you see yourself clearly, and to remind you of what’s already within you.
Care here is collaborative, trauma-informed, and paced with intention — because real healing happens when you feel supported, understood, and safe.
Here, you can put it all down. Here, you can breathe again.
We believe therapy should feel like care — real care.
We believe there’s a better way — a way that feels like community, like exhaling, like coming home to yourself and finding your people.

FAQs
Call us. We answer the phone. After a few minutes of conversation, we can tell you whether you'd be better served by individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, EMDR, or one of our specialty services. If we're not the right fit, we'll help you find someone who is.
Yes. We work with women, men, couples, children, teens, and whole family systems. Our practice is built around the idea that when one person in a family is struggling, everyone feels it, and care often works better when it considers the whole picture.
If something has been weighing on you for a while, like anxiety, sadness, a relationship that's hard to talk about, or a transition you're not sure how to handle, individual therapy can help. You don't need a crisis to start. Most of our clients come in functioning, but not okay.
We answer the phone. We collaborate with your other providers (OBs, pediatricians, chiropractors, psychiatrists, functional medicine teams) so you're not stuck being the messenger between everyone caring for you. We specialize in perinatal and postpartum mental health, and we offer medication management and groups in addition to traditional therapy. We also approach therapy as a process, not a quick fix. Most clients begin with around 12 sessions so there's space to move beyond symptom management into deeper, lasting change. Above all, we treat the whole person, not just the symptom.
Yes. We offer a free 20-minute consult so you can ask questions, get a feel for whether we're the right fit, and decide what feels right. No commitment.
This will be a time for you and your therapist to start to get to know one another. The therapist will lead you through a few questions to understand exactly what you are looking for and make sure they are the best fit for you. It's also the time for you to decide if you connect with your provider by personality, energy and modality.
Your therapist will ask about what brought you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you'd want to be different. You don't have to come with a script.
Yes. A lot of our clients come to us in the middle of one of those: burnout that snuck up on them, a transition that's harder than it looked, a season of life that's heavier than expected. Therapy gives you somewhere to put it down.
Yes! We offer telehealth in Georgia and Florida. Enjoy therapy from the comfort of your home at a time that suits your schedule. No need for stressful commutes or travel.
We are passionate about your care and accepting insurance limits the way we provide services. We also value authenticity and trust and don't believe in diagnosing when it is unnecessary. We are out of network with most insurances, but can provide a Superbill when requested. This can then be submitted by you to your insurance carrier for possible direct reimbursement. We have select therapists available in network with Cigna, BCBS and Aetna.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
