Compassionate support for INDIVIDUALS

Individual Counseling For Adults

Delivering Care for Every Season of Adulthood

Sometimes nothing is “wrong.” It’s just heavy.

You’re functioning. Showing up. Holding it together. But internally, something feels off.

Anxiety that won’t quiet. Stress that won’t lift. Old patterns repeating. Grief that lingers. A relationship dynamic you can’t untangle.

Individual therapy offers space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and move forward with clarity.

At Nurture and Be, we provide individual therapy in Peachtree City for adults navigating change, stress, identity, trauma, and growth — in-person and virtually across Georgia and Florida.

Anxiety & Chronic Stress

  • Constant worry
  • Racing thoughts
  • Perfectionism

  • Burnout
  • Difficulty sleeping

We help calm the nervous system and shift anxious patterns.

  • Grief
  • Major life decisions

Therapy offers space to process change without losing yourself in it.

Relationships & Attachment Patterns

  • Repeated relationship conflicts
  • Difficulty setting boundaries
  • Fear of abandonment
  • People-pleasing
  • Intimacy challenges

We explore the attachment patterns shaping your relationships.

Personal Growth & Clarity

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. Many of our clients come to Nurture and Be to invest in themselves and their growth.

  • Strengthen self-awareness
  • Improve communication
  • Build emotional resilience
  • Develop healthier habits
  • Prepare for upcoming life changes

Growth happens here.

HOW WE WORK

A Space Where You Are Not “Too Much”

Individual therapy is not about fixing you. It is about understanding you and helping you thrive in mind, body, and spirit.

Emotional Regulation

Learning how to manage big feelings without shame or overwhelm.

Reducing Anxiety & Low Mood

Building tools to navigate stress, sadness, and self-doubt.

Understanding Patterns

Noticing triggers, reactions, and habits — and learning new responses.

Strengthening Boundaries

Developing a healthy sense of voice, space, and self-respect.

Rebuilding Self-Trust

Helping your child feel capable and confident in their decisions.

Sustainable Coping Skills

Creating practical strategies they can use at school, at home, and in life.

THE CIRCLE OF CARE FOR Adults

You Don’t Have To Navigate This Alone

Mental health rarely exists in isolation. With your permission, we coordinate care so your support system feels aligned — not fragmented.

Therapy + Psychiatric Support

When medication is part of your care, we collaborate with:

• Psychiatric provider
• Medication management specialists

This ensures emotional and medical care work together.

Therapy + Medical Providers

When physical health impacts emotional wellbeing, we may coordinate with:

• Primary care physicians
• OBs and medical specialists

Care is aligned holistically.

Therapy + Relationship or Family Support

Children grow within relationships. Therapy may be combined with:

• Family therapy
• Parent coaching

This strengthens communication and ensures growth extends beyond the therapy room.

Therapy + Specialized Support

When appropriate, we may collaborate with:

• Nutrition or functional medicine providers
• Coaching professionals
• Other specialists involved in your care

This creates a comprehensive, coordinated plan that supports the whole person.

Person-Centered Therapy

There are seasons when life looks manageable from the outside, but internally you feel stretched thin, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode. You may be meeting your responsibilities, caring for others, and doing your best to keep up — while quietly wondering when it will start to feel easier.

Individual therapy offers a place to exhale. A space to sort through what feels tangled, make sense of your emotions, and begin responding to life with more steadiness and self-understanding.

At Nurture and Be, we support adults through anxiety, overwhelm, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and identity shifts with care that is thoughtful, personalized, and grounded in connection.

Stress, loss, burnout, and transition can cloud your sense of self. Therapy helps you regain clarity, rebuild resilience, and move forward with intention.

Real Stories We See

The High Achiever With Anxiety

Successful on the outside. Exhausted internally. Therapy helps untangle perfectionism and restore balance.

The Burned-Out Parent

Holding everything together for everyone else. Therapy rebuilds steadiness and boundaries.

The Next Level You

You’re ready to grow and let go of some of the patterns that are holding you back.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need therapy?

If stress, anxiety, sadness, or relationship patterns are interfering with daily life — or if you simply feel stuck — therapy can help.

How long does therapy last?

Some clients work short-term on specific goals. Others engage in longer-term work. We tailor the timeline to you.

Is EMDR available?

Yes. EMDR is offered for trauma and distressing experiences when clinically appropriate.

Do you offer individual therapy in Peachtree City?

Yes. We provide in-person individual counseling in Peachtree City and virtual therapy across Georgia and Florida.

Will I need medication?

Not necessarily. If appropriate, we can coordinate with our psychiatric nurse practitioner for evaluation and support.

What if I don’t know what to talk about?

That’s completely normal. Therapy doesn’t require a script. We start where you are — even if that’s simply, “I’m not sure what’s going on.”
