Areanna Haynes

Professional Counselor

Life’s changes, anxiety, and past experiences can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who you are anymore. Maybe you're a young adult trying to find direction, a teen who feels misunderstood, or someone carrying the weight of grief, trauma, or relationship struggles. You might be doing your best to hold it all together, but inside, it feels like something is missing—like no matter how much you try, happiness or peace is always just out of reach.

You don’t have to go through this alone. In our sessions, you’ll have a space where you can show up exactly as you are—no judgment, no expectations, just support. We’ll work through the overwhelm, untangle the thoughts that keep you stuck, and make sense of the emotions that feel too big to handle on your own. Whether it’s learning to set boundaries without guilt, making peace with past pain, or figuring out what you actually want (not just what’s expected of you), we’ll take it step by step.

You deserve to feel supported, understood, and in control of your life again. Through deeper self-awareness, healing, and real, practical changes, you’ll build stronger connections, rediscover your sense of purpose, and move forward with more clarity and confidence. You’re not broken—you’re growing, and I’m here to help.

More than just my work:
“The size of your obstacle is nothing compared to the strength within you.” - Sarah Jakes Roberts

I used to study and sing jazz music, with a particular focus on Ella Fitzgerald's work. I find joy and comfort in listening to jazz, lighting a vanilla or lavender candle, reading my devotional, and relaxing. These practices help me reconnect my mind, body, and soul when I need grounding and balance.

I have a love for flowers, and on weekends, you’ll often find me exploring local markets, handpicking vibrant blooms, and creating beautiful bouquets. It’s my little way of adding color, creativity, and joy to life!
