Bailey Martin
Counseling Intern
Many kids and teens are carrying more than they can express — anxiety that shows up as irritability, emotional outbursts, withdrawal, or trouble focusing. Others are navigating friendship challenges, school stress, identity questions, family conflict, or big feelings they don’t yet have language for. Often, parents feel stuck too — wanting to help, but unsure how.
In therapy with me, young people get a space where they’re listened to, supported, and encouraged to understand themselves better. We’ll work together to build emotional awareness, coping skills, healthier boundaries, and confidence in who they are. I believe kids don’t need to be “fixed” — they need connection, safety, and tools that match their developmental world.
I work with children, teens, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, peer issues, and identity exploration. As a master’s-level intern, I offer lower-cost sessions, with every case supported by supervision from Michelle Rathburn, LPC, and clinical oversight by Brooke Ferreira, LPC, providing over 20+ years of combined experience guiding the work.
I bring a collaborative, strengths-based approach and welcome parent involvement, while honoring the young person’s voice and autonomy. If you’re hoping for support that helps your child feel calmer, more confident, and more understood — I’d be honored to help.
More than just my work:
“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” —A.A. Milne
I’m a music fanatic who thrives on live performances shared with friends and family.
I love the outdoors-camping, hiking, and exploring new trails are my happy places.
