Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Starting therapy is a huge step. Maybe this is your first time finding a therapist, or maybe you have been to therapy in the past and are looking for a different perspective this time around. If you're searching for a therapist who will nurture and challenge you, be your biggest advocate, and keep you grounded when things seem out of control, then I’m your gal.

The best way to get to know a service is through what people have to say...

"If you need an authentic and honest person to help you work through the really difficult things- Brooke is your person! She will help you dig deep and answer the hardest questions honestly, even if it’s hard!" - BMD

"Brooke has been wonderful! She is very calming and relatable. She makes you feel like you are talking to a friend so it's easy to open up to her. She helped me so much in clearing up emotions and find where they come from. With the tools she has given me to use my relationships are definitely better and more genuine than before. I really have found peace with life." - LB

"Brooke is an incredible therapist and podcast host. She’s a natural born nurturer & it’s easy to open up to her. She has one of those auras that make you feel special, comforted, and heard all while only listening. Brookes knowledge and ability to counsel those going through the rollercoaster we call life is phenomenal. She’s a young business professional, wife, and mother so it’s easy to relate on a personal level to many. If you are looking for an amazing therapist, look no further, you found her." - ST

Let’s get to the nitty gritty

Why did I become a therapist?

When I look back at my younger self  somewhere along the line my own self-worth deteriorated. I found myself insecure, anxious, in unhealthy relationships and living in perfectionism and people pleasing. I was doing all of the things that portrayed joy and success but felt lifeless inside. I wanted more. By challenging family patterns, shifting relationship dynamics, saying no, committing to being authentic, I found my more. I am passionate about helping others do the same.

What is it like being in a counseling session with me?

During our time together I will provide you with resources, guidance, support and a safe space to just be. I value authentic conversation and digging through the layers underneath the surface. In session, you can expect me to ask you to slow down and process the emotions that are showing up in real time. I can often tell when there is resistance or avoidance to feelings surfacing and when we pause to notice these feelings, that is when the real work can start to happen. We will dig through your childhood experiences and question the impact that they have on your behaviors today.

What is my area of expertise?

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I support women in all stages of life wanting to heal from and embrace the beautiful, messy, sometimes painful experiences that define us. I specialize in working with those struggling with perinatal depression, anxiety and OCD that can sometimes show up during trying to conceive, loss, pregnancy and postpartum. Motherhood, in any capacity, is transformational. Sometimes it transforms us in ways we don’t expect. The unexpected can be scary, exhausting, traumatizing and confusing. Together we will navigate and process through these challenges.

While the focus will be on you, here are a few things to get to know me:

  • I love being outside.. I grew up in Sarasota, Fl so the beach is my happy place!

  • I am married to a loud, authentic, Brazilian man and we have a daughter together.

  • I am a huge believer in the power of energy. My spiritual connection to the universe/God is important to me.

  • I’m a sucker for a good podcast.

  • My guilty pleasure is reality tv.. eek!
